Balance Your Body & Mind with Sound

My sound therapy offerings include private sessions in Anacortes, monthly community sound baths, Tone Circle™ gatherings, and hands-on workshops across Skagit County and Whidbey Island. Some people start with a sound bath to see how sound feels in their body. Others come straight to a private session because they want more personal attention. There’s no wrong place to begin.

Private Sound Healing Sessions

My private sessions are 75 minutes, and each one is a little different because it follows what your body needs that day. I start with a biofield assessment using a pendulum, then place Tibetan singing bowls on and around your body in specific patterns. I’m listening to the bowls the whole time, since the way they sound tells me where to spend more time. Afterward, I send you a recap with what I noticed and, if needed, a few practices to try at home.

First sessions are $90, and returning sessions are $115 (in person)

Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls with candles set up for a community sound bath

Community Sound Baths

A sound bath is a guided group experience where you lie back and let the frequencies of crystal singing bowls, including my solfeggio-tuned set, Tibetan singing bowls, ocean drums, chimes and other musical instruments wash over you. It’s a gentle, welcoming way to experience sound therapy for the first time, and many people come back month after month. Sound baths are held monthly in Anacortes at Dancing Camel Yoga, in La Conner at Crescent Moon Yoga, and in Oak Harbor at North Whidbey Center for Wellbeing and Whidbey Wellness Collective.

Price: $28 (in person)

Lara Dunning playing crystal singing bowls while leading a Tone Circle group vocal toning gathering

Tone Circle Gatherings

A Tone Circle™ is a group vocal toning practice. We sit in a circle, I start playing the crystal bowls, and then we begin toning simple vowel sounds together, like “ah,” “oh,” and “ooo.” You don’t need to know how to sing, and you can hum or just listen until you feel ready to join in. It’s more active than a sound bath, since you’re using your own voice, and by the end, the voices in the room blend into a resonance you can feel.

Price: $25 (in person)

Three crystal singing bowls on a table with candles, set up for a sound healing workshop

Sound Healing Workshops

My workshops teach simple sound therapy healing practices, like humming and sacred vowel sounds, to help calm your nervous system and reduce stress or anxiety. They’re beginner friendly and offered at venues across Skagit County and Island County.

Price: $45 (in person)

Sound Healing Gift Certificates

A gift certificate gives someone you love a 75-minute private sound healing session. You can buy online and have it emailed on the date you choose, or send it to yourself to print and give to your recipient in person.

Sound Baths for Private Events & Retreats

I bring sound baths, Tone Circle™ gatherings, and other sound healing experiences to private events, retreats, and wellness gatherings. If you’re planning something special and want sound woven into it, let’s talk about what would fit your group.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you’re new to sound therapy, a community sound bath is a relaxed way to see how sound feels in your body. If you’re carrying something specific, like ongoing stress, tension, or a stretch of life that’s asking a lot of you, a private session gives you more personal attention. If you’re curious about the instruments I use and how each one works, my article Sound Healing Modalities Explained walks you through them. And if you’d like to talk through which sound therapy offering suits you best, I’m always happy to help.

Results vary from person to person. Sound healing is a complementary wellness practice. It doesn’t diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions and isn’t a substitute for professional care.
